Lake Macatawa Remodel.

Step into Magnificent! What began as a split level lake house that had seen years of DIY projects was transformed into a custom lake home. All of the materials were selected for their beauty, elegance and durability by the water.

Every.Detail. Beautiful.

Kitchen.

The kitchen is one of the only places in the home where there are original items remaining, but they are hardly recognizable. We removed the stainless steel hood and had a custom hood built. New backsplash was installed with handmade tile from Soho. The ombre coloring of the tiles gives fantastic interest.

An awkward shelf unit was removed and custom floating shelves with accent lighting were installed.

The island was wrapped in vertical shiplap to tie into the dining room space.

New hardware and plumbing fixtures were installed.

All of the cabinets got a makeover with Sherwin Williams “Sea Salt” paint. It created a coastal feeling using a soft green instead of the cliche’ blue and white.

The flooring is large profile luxury vinyl tile. It’s comfortable under foot and durable for lake side living.

Dining Area.

The beauty is found in the details. We took what was just dead space at the end of the living room and transformed it into a sophisticated dining area. Vertical shiplap in Sherwin Williams Sea Salt defines the area. A large two tiered chandelier adds elegance and a warm glow to evening dinners. The raised elevation of the dining area is framed by custom white oak and black iron railings.
